Collection: ANGELLOS GLAROS
"I am fascinated by the transformation of raw materials—taking steel, wood, stone, or clay and revealing the form already waiting within."

Although best known for his striking metal and wood sculptures, Angellos is a multidisciplinary artist who has worked extensively with marble, glass, and clay. His ceramic works reveal the same mastery of form and movement that defines his larger sculptural practice. Whether working on an intimate gallery piece or a large-scale public installation, his work reflects a lifelong fascination with craftsmanship, material transformation, and the expressive possibilities of sculpture.
Since 2016, Angellos has created and exhibited public artworks throughout British Columbia, with permanent and leased installations in communities including Nanaimo, Oak Bay, Langford, Penticton, Castlegar, Nelson, and White Rock. His work has received recognition through awards in sculpture, wood carving, and furniture design, and has been featured in industry and arts publications.
Based in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Angellos Glaros continues to create sculptures that merge artistry, engineering, and traditional craftsmanship—producing works that feel simultaneously timeless, contemporary, and distinctly West Coast.
