ARTIST SUBMISSIONS
The BAINZY is interested in all artist submissions including original paintings, mix media, photography, sculptures, carvings, ceramics, jewellery and more.
The gallery welcomes and accepts submissions from professional Canadian artists (emerging, established and master-level) seeking representation to display artwork for sale in the gallery. If you would like to be considered for gallery representation, please follow the Artist Submission instructions below.
1. SUBMIT ONLINE ONLY. NO ARTIST DROP-INS OR WALK-INS PLEASE.
To help us focus our time and attention on our customers, collectors, as well as the artists we currently represent, we kindly request artists interested in submitting to the Bainzy, do so by sending a link to your website / online portfolio via our contact form.

- 5-10 images / samples of your work in .jpeg format. *At least 3 of the works you submit must be currently available for sale.
- Contact Info: Phone, Email, Location.
- Artist statement about your work, a brief bio and up-to-date CV.
- Your website address
- Social accounts (if applicable): IG, FB, TikTok, X, other.
Tips!
- Please ensure your initial submission is complete with all items BEFORE sending.
- You do not need to resubmit more than once per year. We will keep your original submission on file for the year and contact you if an opportunity for representation is open and available.
(Note: If you are not seeking representation but would like to submit to open calls, exhibit on occasion or keep informed on our workshops, events and development of our artist residency program -- you can simply sign up via the BE THE FIRST TO KNOW form located at the bottom of any page on our site. We'll keep you posted on it all so you don't miss a thing.)

Q. Is there a cost to submit?
A. There is NO cost for artists to submit.

Q. Is there a monthly fee to display work in the gallery?
A. No, there is no monthly fee to display work at the Bainzy art gallery. The gallery runs on a classic gallery representation model where art is displayed for sale on consignment for it's represented artists with a 50/50 commission split between artist and gallery.

Q. How many artists will you represent?
A. For 2026 -- as we're fresh into our start-up era -- we'll be showcasing a smaller number of artists and take on more as we're ready to, which means no set number has been decided at this time. So please be patient with us. We are beyond excited to see all artists' work and have the opportunity to meet and work with you -- but we are limited in staff and available wall space.

Q. How will you be selecting artists / art?
A. We'll be selecting the best-of-the-best based on merit of the actual work and it's suitability in style for the gallery and our client / collector base. We look to support artists that exemplify a dedication to their professional career in the arts and are actively supporting themselves with their art.
