Golden - Original Seascape Painting by Jo Payne

Golden - by Jo Payne is an atmospheric acrylic seascape / beach-scape suffused with soft golden luminous light and sand. Sweeping bands of ochre, warm tanned browns and peach with subtle hints of rose suggest a gently rising shoreline, edged by a glimpse of cool turquoise water. Above, an expansive sky unfolds in hazy light and layers of cream, mushroom-grey and dusty blue.

Softened edges and subtle colour transitions lend the scene a dreamlike stillness, capturing the warmth of a fleeting moment when light seems to settle over everything.
